A flat belt gluing fixture for the repair or replacement of flat belts on metal lathes and other belt driven machinery. By placing the skived, glued belt between compression plates and into the fixture, pressure can be applied to firmly and securely set the skived ends together. A belt assembled in this manner runs much quieter than a belt held together with lacing or mechanical fasteners.
