This spindled chuck backplate will help you along! It is made from steel and is 3 1/2 inches long. Spindle end is threaded 1 X 8 threads per inch, (1 1/2 inches of threads). The opposite side has a precision machined 1.00 inch stud, (1 1/2 inches long), to be held securely and very accurately in your 5C, (or other type), collet chuck.
