The Model #SS3 is able to hone chisels, plane blades and scraper-plane blades up to 1/4 inch thick and 3 inches wide.

Use the #SS3 over stones up to 3/8 inches thick and 4 inches wide or if you are using the "scary sharp" technique, on a flat surface such as your table saw top or surface plate with abrasive paper or pastes.

Positive stop detents for setting your bevel angle from 5 to 60 degrees.
